Happy Christmas Week!!
Students will only have a writing assignment for homework this week.
The assignment will be in their daily folder today and due back on Wednesday, December 21st.
Three tests are coming home today in your child's orange folder. Please sign and return to school tomorrow!
REMINDERS:
Tuesday is our Polar Express Day - Students will wear their pajamas to school along with their gym sneakers (you may bring slippers in your school bag)
Wednesday afternoon is our class Christmas party and students have a Christmas dress down day.
Thursday is dress up day and parents are invited to the SSJ Christmas pageant at 10:30 in the church. We have an 11:45 dismissal.

First grade students will attend the Nutcracker performance this Thursday afternoon. Please wear regular school uniform.
Mission money due each Wednesday!
Please feel free to send in any small toy donations for our prize box. Children who are chosen for Student of the Week, get to pick something from the prize box on Friday!
Readable will be sent home each Monday. Please read every night with your child for extra practice, sign the log sheet in the clear folder and send back to school every Friday.

PARENT REMINDERS:
The First grade students have been invited to see a production of the Nutcracker on Thursday, December 15th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Henderson Auditorium. Bus transportation to and from this event will be provided. Permission slips will be sent home at the end of this week.
Scholastic Book orders for December will be sent home today. In order to guarantee delivery before Christmas break, all orders are due by this Friday, December 9th . Our classroom code is N2KBZ. Scholastic books make great holiday gifts!
