Homework Week of October 24th

PARENT REMINDERS:

A letter was sent home on October 5th about your child's Saint project. Please remember to bring in your index card with 3 sentences this Friday. Students must able to read this in front of the class. All writing should be in their own words and handwriting. (Another copy of this letter will be placed in your child's folder tonight)

Parents are welcome to join us for our Saint Play dress rehearsal on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 in the cafeteria. More information will be in your child's folder tonight! Hope you can join us. 

First grade conferences will be held on December 8th. A sign up genius will be created as the date approaches. 

Mission money due each Wednesday!
Thanksgiving Food Drive - We are collecting cans of green beans and peas. 

I am sending home a doubles math fact sheet with your child. Please practice over the long weekend!

Halloween Party Friday afternoon!
HOMEWORK:

Halloween Homework this week - Complete with your parents "What should your teacher be for Halloween" worksheet in your folder. Be creative. Due on Thursday!

Beginning this week students will be asked to complete sight word homework along with their usual math pages. Each child will be given a "word work" copy book to write their sight word homework in. 

Practice parts for our Saint play each night this week. 


Religion Test This Wednesday on Chapter 4


Please feel free to send in any small toy donations for our prize box. Children who are chosen for Student of the Week, get to pick something from the prize box on Friday!

ELA - Write Sight words 2 more times (3 total)
