Homework Week of February 27th

Parent Reminders:

Due to the snow day, we WILL have school on Friday, March 10th 

Lots of first graders are forgetting their morning snack. Please remember to pack them something daily, even if they are hot lunch!

We have met our goal for the penguin adoption. Thank you for your help in raising the money. When the information on our penguin arrives, I will send it home with your child.


Please pack your child a dishtowel in their lunchbox to use each day. It will be used as a place mat to make our lunch clean up easier! :)

Mission Money will be collected on Wednesday!

Collection for Camilla - Room 1 is assigned deodorant

Religion Test on Chapter 12 - Tuesday 2/27
ELA Test on new sight words and "Honeybees" Story - Friday 3/3

New Sight words this week are: new, their, other, also, some, family

Dr. Seuss day is Thursday, March 2nd, Please bring in your favorite Dr. Seuss book to share with the class. Students must wear their regular school uniform but may accessorize with red or white.



Homework: 

There will be no Readables this week. Students may work on their Blue Rocks 10 book challenge.


Monday - 
Word Work - Write each word 3 times
Math - Practice book pages 157 and 158
Religion - Study for Chapter 12 Religion Test tomorrow

Tuesday - 
Word Work - Put sight words in ABC order
Math - Practice book pages 159 and 160
Read for 10 minutes




Wednesday - 
Word Work - Put each word in a complete sentence
Math - Practice book pages 161 and 162
Read for 10 minutes
Tomorrow is Dr. Seuss Day - Please bring in your favorite Dr. Seuss book for Mrs. Clarke to read to the class. Students must wear their regular school uniform but may accessorize with red or white.


Thursday - 
Word Work - Put each word into a short story
Math - Practice book pages 163 and 164
Read for 10 minutes 
Study for ELA test tomorrow - This week's sight words and Read "Honeybees"
